Counseling

Our mental health impacts every area of our life including our relationships, career, finances, and overall well being.

When we experience negative emotions such as depression, anger, stress, or anxiety, our natural response may be to isolate or to fix the problem on our own. But when are immersed in our thoughts and feelings, it can be difficult to find the solutions we need to heal and move forward. When we do confide in friends or family, we may worry about burdening them with our problems or find that they are unable to provide the support and guidance we need.

Counseling, also referred to as therapy, provides a confidential space for you to explore and address the issues that are impacting your happiness and success in different areas of life. Sessions may focus on healing past pain and trauma, gaining insight into repeating patterns and behaviors, improving your relationship with yourself and others, developing clarity about your life purpose, learning coping skills to deal with difficult emotions, creating an action plan to achieve your goals, and much more.

Mental health counseling is offered for individuals and couples. Sessions are 45 to 90 minutes long and are scheduled on a weekly, biweekly, or as needed basis.
